NOTICE: ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for the “2524 ROUTE 9W BUILDING RETROFIT” (new Coeymans Town Hall) will be received by the Town of Coeymans, Office of the Town Clerk, 18 Russell Avenue, Ravena, New York 12143 until 2:00 PM on August 26, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.  No electronically submitted bids will be accepted.  All bids must be submitted on the bid forms provided.  Bidders should submit one (1) original official copy, together with two (2) unofficial copies, marked “COPY,” and one (1) unofficial copy on suitable electronic means.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract (subject to Town Attorney approval), Plans and Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other Contract Documents may be examined at the following places:

TOWN OF COEYMANS, 18 RUSSELL AVENUE, RAVENA, NEW YORK 12143 and LABERGE GROUP, 4 COMPUTER DRIVE WEST, ALBANY, NEW YORK 12205.

An electronic copy of the documents may be obtained from Laberge Group by emailing [email protected]. The request must provide the following information: complete firm name, contact person, phone number, and email address. Documents will be emailed to the address provided. There is no charge for electronic files delivered by email.  Only bidders who requested and received the contract documents directly from Laberge Group shall be permitted to bid.  Any bidder that is not on the Laberge Group plan holder list will have their bid returned unopened.

The Town Board reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject, in whole or in part, any or all bids.

Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount and form provided in the Information for Bidder and subject to the conditions set forth therein.

Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract.

Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises as well as Section 3 Business Enterprises are strongly encouraged to apply.

All bidders must be in compliance with New York State Labor Law Section 220-i to submit a bid for this project.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
