Town of Coeymans, New York

NEWS: Town of Coeymans reaches $100,000 in earned interest with New York Cooperative Liquid Assets Securities System (NYCLASS)

February 5, 2025

The Supervisor’s Office of the Town of Coeymans is pleased to announce that it has surpassed the $100,000 mark today with its contributions to the NYCLASS fund.

NYCLASS is a highly-liquid investment fund, designed specifically for the public sector. Participation is available to any municipal corporation, or special-purpose district, empowered under New York state statute including cities, towns, villages, school districts, boards of cooperative educational services, and fire districts. NYCLASS has four general objectives: Legality, Safety, Liquidity, and Yield.

As much as the Office of the Supervisor welcomes this financial milestone, and is grateful for all the good work by the staff for the Supervisor’s office, we feel the need to emphasize the more challenging and rewarding work of building community. This administration will always prioritize the need for community and continue our commitment to that goal. We are optimistic that the residents of the Town and Village are dedicated to this ambition as well. Thank you for your time, and as always, please feel free to reach out to our office with any questions and concerns you may have.
